I was very proud and fortunate to talk at the TEDx Auckland this past weekend. The quality of the speakers was amazing and very inspiring.
My talk focused on the big issue facing reading today – people don’t continue to read. There are many programs out there teaching people to read, which is great – but the problem is too many people who can, don’t continue reading. The statistics are shocking. After graduation, 33% of US high school graduates and 42% of college graduates never read another book during their lifetime.

H.G. Wells’ classic, “The Time Machine” is brought to life through synchronized music and ambient audio to immerse readers in the story
